Mechanical Course 200

The course provides all the necessary knowledge to work effectively in process industries such as Oil and Gas and Petrochemicals as an entry-level Mechanical Technician. Trainees will gain practical skills in performing maintenance on shafts, keys, and couplings, manufacturing and replacing gaskets, as well as replacing packing and seals. The course also covers maintaining bearing and lubrication systems, using rigging and lifting equipment safely, and maintaining transmission systems.

Participants will develop hands-on experience in operating a centre lathe, maintaining industrial valves, maintaining pumps and aligning motors, and overhauling reciprocating compressors. In addition, the course emphasizes safe working practices, proper use of tools and equipment, and adherence to maintenance procedures to ensure reliable and efficient operation of mechanical systems.
